Yes its early, but I feel festive!

When do you put yours up? And what do you put up?
Lights inside/outide?

We usually have some inside one/two weeks before, but only inside.

Like the week before, and only ever a tree, haha. Mostly we can never be bothered so it gets left to the last minute (sometimes we don't bother at all!)

Start of December, we have loads of Christmas lights outside, and inside. My family are really festive so we have a huge tree and new decorations on it every year. :spin:

Normally about 2 weeks before Christmas, my Mum's birthday is the 11th of December and when I was growing up we always put the Xmas decorations up around then, I've carried on the tradition with my own partner and child now!

When I lived at my mums we had a massive 8ft real tree in the porch with hand made little bits and bobs added on and fancy tinsel. Nothing tacky and it was always co ordinated. Then in the lounge area we would have a 5ft tree with frosted silver and lilac baubles and ribbons. Then we would have lights on the bedrooms windows that looked like snowdrops and it was all very classy and la de da!

This is my first christmas away from home so I dont know what I will be doing but it will never beat my mum.

Oh and she put this up two weeks before christmas..

I will probs put mine up a week before.

We dont do classy in our house, we go totally christmassy and tacky :)
We have a really tall tree, and we decorate it with ribbons, loads of ornaments we have collected over the years, little decorations we made as kids. Sweets of all colours... its just a mix of every colour you could imagine :P
It looks amazing!

Then we have tinsel all around the house! And a glowing santa on our window

Kind of when I am bullied into it by my family, usually mid December and I often have them down just after boxing day, I hate the mess, I hate that it is something else to gather dust.
