I believe you're being insensitive to the Americans here because I like Thanksgiving the best.

I generally hate Halloween but when I have been in England for 2 months in 2006, I love the way British people celebrate it. So I'm going for it.

Diwali was also left out, its also a lovely festival and its this coming Tuesday.
I've been invited to a friend of a friends house I went last year too, and the food, scented candle lights decorations are 2 great highlights of this Hindu celebration, so if anyone gets a chance to go out on Tuesday try getting out to a Diwali festive party, you won't regret it.

That show is absolutely hilarious. I love it.

Anyway, I don't particularly like any of these things, but I'll go for Thanksgiving, even though it isn't there.

I love Bonfire night! Hehe

I like getting all your warm clothes on and going down to your local park where there is a bonfire and just getting drunk watching it and then people letting off fireworks and getting steaming.

Its the anniversary of the Guy Fawkes plot to blow up Parliament?

Halloween is really mild to the point where you dont even notice it round our way. Bonfire night i like! everyone shuts up with the fireworks go and you snuggle up to those around you, everyone standing in a field totally freezing :) and for sentimental value, i have more childhood memories of bonfire night than halloween
