Hello all, and welcome to the tenth official TiBB Banner Competition.

This time around, we're going back to an old theme - TV & Film - which was previously used in the second banner competition. You can see the winners of all the previous competitions here (http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=101206).

To clarify...
- Banners of actors and actresses are NOT allowed, but banners of the characters that they play are
- Banners of celebrities in reality TV shows ARE allowed as long as it is of them in the show

If you have any banners that you would like to enter, you can submit them now - simply reply to this thread, enclosing the banner(s) you are entering.


Entry Rules
#1. Up to four entries per member.
#2. All of your entries must be your own work. You cannot submit banners made for you by someone else.
#3. Only banners posted in this thread will be eligible for the finals.
#4. All members are allowed to take part.
#5. You may change your entries before the entries thread closes. You must make it clear in the thread that you are doing so.
#6. The entries thread will close on Sunday 23rd November at 9.00pm. After this time, no new entries will be accepted, nor can any submissions be changed.

Can I just ask those of you who post banners knowing that you will change them at a later stage not to do so - it only causes confusion for me when I come to collect them for the heats.

There must be thousands of people out there that do banners, there are hardly thousands of styles is there, people are bound to have similar styles, so? If you like the style that I don't see why its sooo bad copying them, its just silly you acusing him of coping.

It seems like the only style on the forum some days &it stops his graphics being so.. uniquely amazing.

I tend to browse graphics forums like Pandoras Closet, and Red Carpet Rebellion and get inspiration from them and blending ideas together and stuff.

OK, Darenn and Rory haven't verified yet but I'm confident I have their banners correctly so I'm going to move on.

For this competition, I've decided to tweak the voting format a bit.

There are 42 banners. They will be split randomly into seven heats (six in each).

The winning banner from each heat will automatically advance to the final, whilst the second place banners will go through to an eighth second-chance heat. The winning banner in that eighth heat will also proceed to the final.

Members will still be allowed two votes each.

TheMichaelO has just informed me that he wants to withdraw all of his banners from the competition. Therefore, I'm going to have to re-do the heat groups - and maybe now I'll have to go back to the old voting format.
