I have to go to Take That in London by myself and a lot of people think I'm crazy! My mum can't come as she and my dad are going on holiday somewhere else and none of my friends will come as its too expensieve. But its like hmm Take That in WEMBLEY Stadium by myself or not at all? And I couldn't not go-so by myself it is.

edit: I havn't even got tickets yet  And I'll hopefully be meeting people there.

Hell no. The only concert I'll ever go to is a Wembley one because it's closest. But I have NO clue how to work the London Underground and stuff.

LMAO It's so random when you see tourists with big maps, t-shirts, hats, flags etc all about London and we're just like "jese its not that exciting here".

Only once.

Sneaker Pimps.

"The original line-up"

Before the female vocalist Kelli was forced to leave.

As one youtube member quoted.

" (What the hell was Chris Corner thinking when kicking her out of the band?) "

"Low place like home"...doesn't quite sound the same with a male vocalist.

Well in my opinion.

Compare.

Like I said.

"Only once"

And that was because I was let down.

"After paying out of my own money"

2 tickets to see them in Manchester.

Instead I was forced to go alone.

I just walked right to the front and stayed there for an hour until the band came on. It was a glorious performance I wont forget.

Hm, no, unless it was someone I was desperate to see (Which I am not) and if yes, I would meet lots of people in the que.

Princess

Arghhh finally found this! Stupid search function not working.

Have to say it makes not one blind bit of difference.

On the 3rd I made friends in the crowd,on the 4th I made friends in the queue who I stayed with for the show and for the 5th I made a friend in the queue and then met people in the crowd who I knew from Dublin!

I was a bit lonely coming home but that was it.

edit:Oh and the last date, which I was at by myself was the best of the whole tour. Without a doubt.

I have done it before, but unfortunatly many bands I enjoy the music of either perform in venues to far away to possibly attend, or don't set foot on British soil at all.

I agree, boring on your own

MrGaryy

I'm the same Christina, I would never go to the cinema on my own or a concert or DEFINITELY NOT and amusement park.

I'd feel lonely and a bit of a loser tbh. Most of the fun of all these things is being able to share the experience with other people. If I couldn't get a friend to go I would bring my sister or something.

No, going\being in Belfast\Dublin by myself would be awful =|

If there was an arena near and if it was some1 that i liked then i would consider it
But because nearest one is manchester and we live about an hour away then theres no chance ill be able to do it on my own

supernoodles!
19-07-2009, 01:13 PM
yeah if there was only one ticket available and it was someone I really wanted to see.

No way, it be pointless as at least if you have someone with you you both can share the experience plus it wouldn't be fun if your on your own.

When I went to the x-factor 2009 live tour, I went with 2 people, but we hadn't booked tickets together and I ended up 2 blocks away from them, and I was so bored with nobody to talk/have a laugh with, so I wouldnt go to one on my own!

The concert obviously wasn't that good if you were bored.

For Take That when I was by myself, during the actual concert it made not blind bit of difference. Cos when I went with my mum I was paying too much attention to the boys to talk to her until after

The queuing/going home was a bit weird but I talk to anyone easily so it was fine!
