Shell has paid a visit to the Diary Room to reflect on her time in the House.
"It's really exciting... we're going home today," she enthused when asked about the atmosphere.
And she spoke fondly of the last 10 weeks, despite there having been times when she'd wanted to quit.
"It's been excellent," she said emphatically.
Big Brother asked how she thought she had managed to make it to the final week. "I have no idea," she laughed before going on to reveal that the experience had been "much more than I expected."
And she believed that being in the House had encouraged her to try new things.
Reflecting on the more difficult times, she explained how she had dealt with them - by talking things through with Big Brother and her housemates. And not wanting to disappoint her family had strengthened her resolve to stay.
Pondering on who she thought would win, she thought that either Daniel or Nadia were strong contenders declaring, "They're such large characters".
And despite believing that she won't win, she will not regret her time in the House, describing it as "an experience and a half".
Unable to pinpoint one best moment, she said that learning about Stuart's friends, Team Handsome, had provided the biggest laugh and that she had loved cooking for the housemates and participating in the tasks.
She confessed she would miss her fellow housemates and also having no responsibility.
And of the conflicts that have occurred over the last 10 weeks she was also level-headed, believing it impossible to live with people "24/7" without an argument... "It really doesn't matter at the end of the day," she concluded.
Relishing her last hours in the House, she had a relaxed day mapped out and planned to straighten her hair, pack her suitcase and think about her family and boyfriend.
But she was pensive about the crowd's reaction after previous housemates had been booed and admitted that, "a lot of people scare me". And the prospect of meeting Davina this evening was "an odd scenario".
But she didn't hesitate when asked to sum up her time in the House.
"10 weeks in a loony bin... three months of just absolute craziness."
