Doubt we'll get many.. people only usually go to houses who they know or have their houses decorated :spin:
Might get a few annoying teenagers though who 'know' me or my brother
Will give them a chocolate bar or something lol x

Every year the kids knock my door a lot in the week running upto and on Halloween
but I have moved house this year and not one single kid has done it which has shocked me after all the hype around it this year
No and if they do its not getting opened. The only time the door is being opened tonight is when I go out :joker:

We are still waiting and I have a feeling that we will be waiting for a long time. We live down a very dark walk with no street lights and the outside light is off.... any kid that walked down here on halloween would have to be either very brave or very stupid.

31-10-2008, 07:03 PM

My dad turned all the lights off, so me and my sister had to sit in the dark and it didn't help that once the door knocked, I could hear my name being whispered through the letter box  I got so scared I made my sister go and look and it was my friend with his nephew LOL

We used to get loads a few years back but not so many now. It's got bad connotations to it in our town though, people think it's a bit scruffy to knock on someone's door for sweets.

When I used to go at around 9/10 it used to be really popular, I think now parents are just way too over protective of there kids to let them go out, and some can't be bothered to go with them. I think its just lost its meaning over the years and isn't what it used to be all those years back.
I think its really popular over in america though?
pinkmichk

we have had one more group so about 9 kids in total i will not be answering door after half 8 so looks like we will have lots of left over sweets

round here both eggs and flour have to be a part of a big shop and only one per customer (so 1 box of eggs 1 bag of flour) also have to be over 16 to get them they do it for the whole week leading up to halloween

Their were loads of kids earlier at my door and I hate the ones that hold out their hand.

this is my personal opinion but trick or treating is sorta like begging
When you give out sweets its alright but with money its like your giving beggers money
