Moving from General Chat to Chat and Games

Like nearly every other General Chat topic, as well as a few others are being moved, and I wondered why?

I mean topics about "gaining weight" and Graphics aren't really spam?

Just wondered why this was happening, and what marks the line between General Chat and Chat and Games.

It's annoying. I think their trying to get rid of General. :/

i think chat&games is just for like GAMES obviously, and like spammy things/ in jokes and so on.
so it does annoy me a lot. it also annoys me when i post a thread in gc and people are like OH FFS THIS BELONGS IN CHAT&GAMES YOU PENIS!

I've always wondered this too. I came to the conclusion that General Chat is for constructive discussions on topics which don't fit into other forums, whilst Chat & Games is for the "Hi, how was your day" chat, games, and other completely off-topic threads.

What is being moved?
The only things I move (and haven't moved any in a while) are clique-y type threads, or good threads that have turned into a complete off-topic discussion.

Lots of stuff. Look how there's hardly anything in General Chat lately.

I have moved the 'Rate the banner' thread back to graphics.

I don't know why it was moved away in the first place, or who by - but in light of it I'd like to remind people to stay in topic on it otherwise I very much imagine it will be moved back.

Also, if people could stop repeatedly posting in it to get their banner rated as it will make it seem very spammish and just contributing to post count.
