I have to get a blood test,a Hepatitis B vaccination and something called a mantoux tomorrow which I just looked up and is this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantoux
:shocked::shocked:
I thought it was Tuesday and I had time to prepare myself but it's tomorrow! And I've never had a blood test and havn't had an injection since I was about 11 and that last one looks really scary. Basically I'm terrified!

Needles don't really hurt! I used to be so afraid of them, and one day we had at them at school. I panicked for a while and when it was done, it felt like nothing. You'll be fine! :D

 you will be fine i used to work in a nursing home so had the hep jabs (i think you have 3 one each month then a blood test after to make sure you protected)
as for the blood test my tip is dont look at them doing it if you feel funny about it and have something to eat before hand so you dont pass out

Oh I hope so! I know I shouldn't be afraid of them,I am going to be a nurse! But it just looks so scary. And its at half 8 too and it takes me forever to get there. I'm so going to faint.

Don't look-right! Do blood tests hurt?
I hate needles argh. I refuse to have blood tests.
I had the Polio/Tetanus one and it killed  I just had to go through with it because like, you need them needles.
Just don't think about it, like I do

Oh god! Oh god,oh god,oh god.
On the health form thing I put that I got panic attacks when I was really stressed so they're not gonna like me very much
The TB jab is in two stages, they give you one, and then if the dots join up sufficiently you are naturally immune so they don't give you the second one (that happened to me!) and if you do need it, then it normally comes up in a scab that looks quite gross but it goes away! It didn't hurt! Just hum a song while they do it! :D

They said we were getting three Hep B ones! I'm more scared about the blood tests and mantoux than the Hep B though.
Thanks though Greg. I'll sing TT or think of the tour or something.....

You could totally milk it and convince a parent to buy you a ticket!! You could drop "Take That" into the conversation a few times, be like "the nurse was so cruel! She took out the needle and stabbed in my arm and shouted 'Take That!' at me, I didn't know why she shouted Take That... but speaking of which, could I please get tickets for Take That? It's just I feel really bad right now, and that would make me feel better..."
I could just plan your life out Laura.

Ive had 3 blood tests this year, and never had one before then, I was literally crapping myself, it doesnt hurt much, only if the doctor does it right, which my first doctor didnt and got my nerve instead... ouch!! But if its done right (which most probably it will be) it will be fine.

My friend said when she got one the doctor put the needle in and left her! Which doesn't really help.

Ohh noo!! Woops, I didnt mean to make you worry. It was my fault I think, i moved my arm a bit, as long as you keep your arm still, you will be fine.

Dont worry, I know how you feel. They ask you a really simple question to get your head out of the zone when they do it, and its literally over in 2 seconds, and sometimes you dont even realise.

its over and done with really quick what takes the time for me is them finding the vein but thats not to say you will be the same (and that doesnt hurt anyway)
Princess

I hear they sometimes can't find a vein and just keep poking until they do? I can see my veins really well in my arm though.

I doubt that's very common though, and the people doing it are professionals who know what they are doing. You're gonna be fine.

they wont do it until they have a vein that looks good (they use like a belt on your arm and also at my doctors they sometimes put something cold on or sort of slap your arm, they also get me to clench and unclench my fist which helps as well)

Oh, and they may amputate your arm, but thats only a 2/5 chance, so I wouldn't worry.
TT were on the radio earlier, incase you didn't hear, having a little interview thing.
