Another thread gave me an idea of posting some local dialect

I'm a Rutland/Leicester gal but speak no'ing lik wot I shud!

Few few bits of my local tongue (no dirty remarks please:rolleyes:)

ark at it! -listen to it. ie raining.

Baleev - Yes, I believe you!
cob - roll/bap
coodya - could you
cuntya - couldn't you
me duck - my friend: "alrigh' m'duck" - "alright my friend"
e's gorra chin on - he's being grumpy
'ees gorra cobbon - he seems to be upset
frowawobbler - get mad
fippin' hell- you are shocked!
giz a gander - give me a look
mashin - brewing the tea
Mardy Arse - a person who is very upset.
