What is it?
If you've been here long enough to remember dupin's "TiBB Perfect X Factor" you'd remember the format, and basically mine is similar to that.

There will be 4 judges in charge of categories: Groups, Girls, Boys and Oldies.

Of course the twist is you'll be selecting songs by real-life artists, past and present, to correspond with the themes I, as game-manager, assign you. So example themes will be "Ballad Week" or "Collaborations Week".

There will be 12 acts.

So how will the show work?

Every Sunday afternoon, at 3pm, the show will be posted as it happens. Up until then I'll be discussing with the judges which songs they wish to select for their 3 acts to be displayed, in a youtube video, to correspond with the selected theme.

Of course, the songs you select will be ACTUAL songs sung by the artist in the past. So for ballads week you may choose Elton John's "Your Song" for example.

Once all videos and acts have been introduced, the 'public' will u2u me their three favourite songs. The three with the fewest votes will then face a vote-off between the five judges.

Judges may only vote for other judges' votes [if they so wish] and all are reminded to vote for the best song, not the best artist.

Okay, so Sundays = closed for this internet cafe... So change of plans. I'll set you all the theme every Monday, after I've posted the show [which I'm about to start now]. Votes then open until Friday, where I'll come down about 2-3pm until 4-5pm [2hrs limit :tongue:] and reveal the votes, and hopefully there'll be a judge or two online to cast their votes. Instead of me assigning you 3 acts you may not necessarily like, I am now going to give each judge a choice of 6 different acts, similar to the selection process with the "judges house" stage in The X Factor.

The judges must u2u me their final decision, that is the name of the 3 acts they wish to take through to the live shows, by Sunday 6pm. Failure to do so will result in me choosing 3 acts at random for you.

Now, for the first live show. It'll take place on Tuesday evening at 7pm-9pm. The results will be revealed after CBB that evening. All of the mentors/judges must now u2u me the song choices of their respective artists, to suit the theme. But what is it? It's... ballads. I'll be u2uing all of you with the artists' "signature songs" which cannot be used until the third show, in which that shall be the theme.

I'd also appreciate it if you gave me a youtube video link to your song choices.

On Tuesday, the videos shall be posted, perhaps introduced by the judges if they can make it. Once the show is finished, other TiBB members will vote for their 3 favourite songs. The 2 or more acts with the fewest votes will then face the judges in a vote-off, with each judge saving just ONE act each. In the event of a tie, voting will recommence momentarily.
