Mariah Carey has ground London traffic to a halt ahead of her live appearance on The X Factor this weekend.
Police barriers were erected to stop traffic outside Selfridges on Oxford Street as hundreds of fans waited to catch a glimpse of the 'Touch My Body' singer.
Two floors of the department store were shut down as the star was ushered in with her entourage. "It's really cool that they would do this and it's great to see so many people show up," Carey said.
Earlier, the singer was reported to have brought 27 pieces of luggage with her when she arrived in to Heathrow airport with husband Nick Cannon.
Carey will perform new single 'I Stay In Love' on the reality show, whilst the remaining finalists will also perform 'Hero' on stage with the singer.
The singer will then be flown by private jet to Monaco, at a reported cost of £10,000, to play at the World Music Awards in Monaco.
