What is it even doing there, they are allowed to do Mariah Carey covers? What a stupid idea.

Good thing too, because her song choice was sung on American Idol by the winner this year.... how original of them to pick it for the X-Factor

is that the order they are going in? Because it looks likely, and thats good, Daniel hopefully has more of a chance of landing the bottom 2 as he's on earlier.

Nope, Diana Ross and Lionel Richie did the original and Mariah covered it with Luther Vandross.

XD @ Eoghan getting Anytime You Need A Friend.

Did you hear how powerful Mariah sings it?

If Alexandra pulls off Without You, I'm pretty sure she'll get LOADS of votes.

I was a bit worried about Ruth, I thought her time was going to be up tonight. But I can see her being performance of the night. That song will suit her so well. Alexandra's is a bit predictable but no doubt she'll do it better than Leona, and Simon will say Leona's is better.

It seems like its going to be a bit of a crap night though :conf2:

I think Rachel doing Against All Odds is such a drab choice,it's been done to death now.Did she pick it?

Alexandra's choice is very predictable, no doubt Simon will criticise her for doing it and probably rightly so.

I really like Ruth's choice, it's got a Spanish feel to that song so I think it will suit her well.

Although Laura will no doubt sing her choice well but not the most interesting of choices,it's pretty much always been sung as a duet.

Eoghan could end up being a disaster, his weak voice on such a powerful song but he will probably be backed up by a dozen backing singers.

I wouldn't be surprised if Daniel actually did well this week.

He might surprise us and reach higher than one decibel this time:laugh:

You'll probably have a lot of material to work with this week.
