Age Limit!

At what Date do you have to be 14 by to audition for the X factor? I think it is 1st of July.. or possibly April?

This show is about finding a new superstar who can sell loads of records and sell-out world tours, I cant imagine a 14 year old selling out a world tour, no matter how good they are! Producers need to be realistic.

yerh i dont think a 14 even a 16 years old can be a recording artist!

^^^ Diana is only 17 and she's favourite to win. I think they should put it back up to 16,no-one under that ever gets to live shows anyway.

Yeah exactly. I'll let Diana be an exception because she's mature and I forget she's 17 half the time ;D

I don't think they should put the limit up.

It's good to get young people. Besides it's not going to harm anyone so it might as well be.

Plus there is a tiny chance that there could be one or two amazing voices with the ability to cope with being on the show amoung them.

Not to mention the fact that they are going to become a 'popstar' which a lot of are young. It's like George Sampson all the little kids completely love him.
I still to this day remember the girl on Popstars The Rivals that was amazing and had to leave because she'd lied about her age.
(AKA BB Steph, I still can't that happened. :lovedup:) (...and it's still a waste that she went so near to the start. )


I like Eoghan being in the show, it's really cute and adds a little difference.
