Laryngitis doesn't just decide to come on one day. It creeps up on you for a few days. She would have been ill before that and will have had a sore throat, probably on Sunday, maybe even Saturday.

I'm not saying shes faking it, I just think the producers are saying its worse than it is

She looked like she had been dug up and hit with the shevel. She looked like death! bless her, I believe her anyway, and so do her fans.

In this years competition I'd have gone ahead and sang anyway, it seems having a bad voice is an ADVANTAGE, just ask Rachel, Daniel, 3 of the 4 in JLS, Diana really risks being knocked out if she turns up and performs in tune when her voice gets better.

true. I was thinking the same as mizzy but you made a good point shorty! I mean if i was on camera i would wear make up like all the time. Even if i was sick!

it wasnt as if she couldnt move....it was only her voice that had extreme problems....so she can still do her make-up!
