he'd either be forced to withdraw or would have to sing. No way would he be given a free pass.

He would be given a free pass, just because Diana is the favourite to win and got one doesnt mean they wouldn't for anyone else

I dunno, I disagree. If it was bad enough where a doctor said it could damage his vocal chords for life then they'd have no other option. They can't claim a doctor said something when they didn't say it at all, and voice straining with severe infection/laryngitis can sometimes be a cause of throat cancer.

ALL constants get 1 free pass if they are really ill or for other reasons. It's in their contract.

I had a throat infection a few months ago. It was like someone was constantly stabbing me in the throat, my voice was very rough and I couldnt go more than a few minutes without spitting out loads of phlegm. I thought she looked and sounded pretty good considering the infection was supposed to be so bad.

and considering she was screaming her head off and scoffing toffee apples as well

it was blown out of proportion by the bosses IMO

That bonfire party was on the Tuesday and I heard that she didnt get it until Wednesday. So at the time of the bonfire, she sounded and looked fine because she was fine.

When I had an infection I was constantly short of breath so couldnt do the interview that she did. Also, wasn't there a shot of her out in the cold celebrating the single going to number one. That wont have done her throat any good.

Voice went on Tuesday, diagnosed on Thursday. You don't just wake up with it, it creeps up on you. I know myself because I've had it, I had a really sore throat for about a week before hand.

I bet she didn't even have Laryngitus.

I bet it was just a sore throat from all the yelping she did on bonfire night! lol.

But I love Diana and tis another week, so she needs to sing this week or she will be forced to withdraw from the competition.

(Oh VOTE RUTH BTW )

People react differently to sore throats, the fact is it was the X Factor producer or whoevers final decision, and the fact if she did try and sing she could of damged her throat even more.
