DAVINA McCall only planned to tell Dan about Nadia's sex-swap last night.
The Big Brother host stopped telling evictees about their housemate's secret after complaints from transsexuals.
But she thinks Dan deserves to know as he and favourite Nadia, 27, are so pally.
On Radio1 yesterday, breakfast show DJ Chris Moyles asked: 'Why have you stopped telling house mates Nadia was a man? That was the best bit.'
She replied: 'I have had a lot of complaints. It was insensitive to transgender people to put it how I did and I'm sorry for that.
'The way Nadia would see it is that she was not a man and has never been a man.
'She is a woman born into a man's body.
'I won't be telling the other housemates - although I think I will have to break it to Dan as they have been so close in the house.'
