Big Brother Awards - idea?

Now that we are getting major withdrawal symptoms from BB5 (is anyone like Nadia without her cigarettes?? :hugesmile:), I was wondering whether we could have our own TiBB awards for Big Brother.

The idea would be to vote across all 5 series of Big Brother (I'm excluding the Celebrity and Teen versions because I don't think enough people will remember them).

Categories could include:

Best winner
Best latercomer into the house
Best BB couple
Best-looking housemate ever

etc. etc.

What does everyone think?

Perhaps we could have a convention like in 2002 in the real to announce them?

We will have to come up with some catagories for both lots, but would this be better if we will some kind of convention in the real world like 2002 in Manchester.

Is this still a more central location in the county?

Some thoughts on this before we work on catagories as we could make actual trophies that way.

Well, Sticks, I'm thinking that the "BB awards" will be virtual 'cos it means they can happen quite quickly. But it would be good to have the Tibb convention and TiBB awards too!!

Getting back to the idea of a convention, the last one was organised by Janet and Maggie.

If I was to organise anything, I would need to be a super moderator to have any clout with venues. Plus I would be limited to Newcastle or Gateshead, which is hardly central for the likes of Lee and Mark.

Any further thoughts on this?

If we have awards for housemates past we could invite the nomminees, like at the Baftas as well as having awards for posters.

But as stated, I am not sure I am in a position to organise a venue for us all to congregate at, unless it is in Newcastle somewhere, and I suspect there would be objections to that as it is not central in the country for people to get to.
