Celebrity promotes safety on the roadsCELEBRITY and first-winner of Big Brother Craig Phillips will today join the family of a Wirral teenager killed by a drink driver to promote road safety.
Phillips, whose father Les was killed in similar circumstances, and his sister will come together with the family of Eluned Cleverley, 18, from Meols, who died in August 2006.
They will meet at St Michael’s CE High School in Crosby, where, with pupils, they will hold banners reading: “Stop. Imagine. Change.”
Mary Williams, chief executive of Brake, which organises Road Safety Week, said: “We all need to take a cold, hard look at our behaviour on the roads and improve it.”
