tibb keeps going funny

not sure if its just me but i have opened a few topics this evening and when i do the screen goes really funny sort of repeats the top posters box all down the page and wipes out my actual window so that i cant see any buttons like refresh or back until it sorts it out to the point where the bit to click back to main menu comes up which takes about 5 minutes
i am on other forums and none of those are doing it so not sure its my computer

Hmm... not been happening to me.

Are you sure it's nothing to do with anything lagging?
Try deleting your cookies (If you're on firefox. Tools->Clear Private Data->Tick Cookies).

the worst one (where i had to actually close window) was the one how do you say tibb

Everything is fine here.

Had a problem with one of the routers into the site in the week that stopped me getting on but that all sorted now.

Hahah, it's little tiny pieces of information stored on your computer when you browse. It's worth clearing them now and then, but then if you have any saved passwords or "remember me" logins on forums then they'll disappear.

PS. Smartie ones are my fave.

I'm not sure what this is... could someone post a screenshot of what they see? (press Print Screen key and paste into some sort of graphics program, then upload).

It might be related to some of the avatars on the forum slowing things down, if you have a slow loading avatar.

i tried getting a screenshot but it wouldnt let me just kept beeping at me each time i tried have deleted cookies but it has done it again since

Have you tried clearing temporary files in the browser? Tools - Internet Options - General tab - Delete - Delete Files. Or restarting the computer?

Cookies... The selection boxes you get that are good with cheese. I prefer to call them biscuits though. :D Didn't like that cookie thing Kathreya did in BB9 for that reason haha.

The smilie thing happens with me if I haven't let the page load properly before trying to type.

Does this only happen on threads with polls? Is there a particular member's posts on the pages where it happens? Think it might be related to a avatar or sig, which might explain why it has started doing it tonight.
