I'm A Celebrity: Nicola makes an early play for the male vote... but is already feeling homesickAs vote-winning strategies go, it can hardly be called subtle.
After arriving in the Outback for the latest series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! glamour model Nicola McLean stripped down to a bikini faster than you could say 'desperate for attention'.
The ploy has become known as 'doing a Myleene' after former contestant Myleene Klass.
In the 2006 series, the former Hear'Say singer gave her faltering career a new lease of life after she was seen taking regular showers during her stint on the show in a white bikini.
McLean, who has rarely troubled the public conscience until now, will be hoping for a similar result.
After barely arriving in the jungle, McLean, 25 and fellow WAG Carly Zucker, 24, also turned on the waterworks saying they were feeling homesick.
It seems both are missing their creature comforts as jungle life begins to take its toll.
But it has not stopped them appealing for the male vote.
