Christmas is all about making memories, then the next Christmas you remember
The Coca Cola ad plays on this idea, we all saw it as a kid and remember the Christmasses that came with it, so we then associate it with warm nice Christmasses

I dont think its about making memories, its about having a good time, not thinking "Oh, I'll remember that next November. Its about having fun, yes, being with people, but, for me, the commercial side may be there, but I dont see it as the best part about a festival which was once based on religion.
