Lets face it, airbrushing is part and parcel of a celeb photo these days.

Perfection is the key and nothing less will do.

Their looks are over analyzed and because of this airbrushing is common.

Sadly it just makes us ordinary people strive to be just as perfect as them and thats just impossible.

Hannah you've chosen a ridiculous picture as an example- this is SUPPOSED to look like that, ie not real. Shes supposed to look like a doll/something off the sims to fit in with the background/the theme of the advert.

I've noticed the trend to make people too over airbrushed in such a way that it makes them seem cartoon like.....

I think they should be made to state when a photo has been airbrushed (i know that would mean every magazine cover and celebrity interview,cd cover,film/dvd promotion,lads mag and much more) out there but it should be done.It gives a totally false and negative image to young girls,especially and I don`t care what anyone says it really does affect some people.

That pic was supposed to look fake and plastic due to the them being pop art/2D. On the cover of KBG she is quite airbrushed but most of the time she's pretty natural. Doesn't come close to Britney.
