Take That offer, Diana Vickers!DIANA Vickers has had an offer she will Never Forget from Gary Barlow.
The Take That singer told the 17-year-old that if Simon Cowell didn’t sign her then he would.
Diana – who is mentored by Cheryl Cole on the show – got a confidence boost after meeting Gary and Mark Owen this week.
But she is still said to be feeling the pressure after a disappointing performance last week and is worried about ending up in the bottom two.
Saturday’s show will see appearances from Take That and last year’s contestants Rhydian and Same Difference.

She should have been worried last week because she should have been in the bottom two.
She sang like a bad case of diarrhea.
How did this girl get so far?
Well I think I have worked it out, it's a the fault of MP3 players that are making the people that vote for her tone deaf. I can confirm after mixing a track of simulated tinnitus with a Diana song the results were quite pleasant.... the two different sounds produced one pure note

Diana reminds me of Melanie Safka her voice wasnt perfect either but she is still one of my all time fave artists and a great great singer.

She can sing, she just adds gimmicks to her voice that people will other love or hate.
The screeches on the end of some notes I can't stand personally, everything else is alright.

That's why I luv Diana, because she is different to singers like Alex/Ruth. Obvs vocally, they can belt it out nad have stronger voices, but Diana can sing and I luv her voice, it's different.

It is very weird, most singers are either off key for the whole song, or go on and off key during the song.... she goes in and out of key on every note.
It's annoying
If she wins people will buy her first album play it a few times get bored and she will never really be heard of again.

How can anyone be a fan if they don't buy her stuff..... I don't get it.
If you like someone you should be willing to pay for what they do... the girl has to eat if she is to carry on singing.
It's taking the food from her mouth.

She can sing reasonably well but she's nothing special. I think she's deliberately adding more and more yelping/yodelling as the contest progresses. It'a a shame her fans cant see there's not much else to her.

At last someone mentions something the X-Factor is meant to be about.... unlike the Diana's Acolyte's who religiously vote for her no matter how bad she is.

the X factor imo is about much more than that, and as was said she had a bad week we know shes better than that and was ill. She got votes from her fans because it would be crap without her. If she carries on with below par performances then I wont vote for her

Has any one noticed she only gets one solo line in the Hero's single? I wonder what that was all about considering she's so special and such a great singer?

Of course they don't the X-Factor is a karaoke show when you get done to the basics. It's there to find talented singes that can be developed in popular music acts.
Well that's what would be if people understood what the show was about, and you forget all the manufactured rubbish about the finding the "X-Factor", which not even the Judges understand or can explain, primary because it doesn't exist.

It annoyed me when Simon was criticising Alex for lacking originality. In this show the acts are required to sing cover version of songs made famous by well established artists. On just about every occasion they have to sing the song with the same arrangement as the original. Given that I ask the question, how much originality can anyone expect?
Personally, I'm not looking for a great deal of originality, I'm looking for talent. I feel Simon was talking a lot of sh*t when he was criticising Alex and was only doing it to destroy her confidence. In the first few shows Diana DID show some originality but since then I think she's shown that she much more limited than we were expecting.

yeh it is X factor after all, your right. And I wish Alex could have given more, I really loved Candy man and if she did something like that and wowed me every week Id be on here singing her praises, as for the rest I can never really remember what they sing unless theyre bad. But Diana is the only one thats wowed me, to be honest, unless she wrote her own music though or did some wicked covers I wont buy her album, but I think many would. And for X factor shes pretty damn good really

Sorry to disappoint you she isn't Leona Lewis.
Also, she not going to make millions and millions of pounds. She only has a small market most of which seem to come from the generation that think music is free.

Diana shouldn't win then if she definitely has a record deal when she comes out of the show.
