Snow Patrol's Nathan Connolly has admitted that he is reluctant to give his backing to Leona Lewis's version of 'Run'.
The guitarist revealed that he has not yet heard Lewis's cover of the band's song and warned that he may not praise it when he does.
"I still haven't heard it. Nothing against her, but I don't know if I'm going to endorse it either," Connolly told ABC News. "It is what it is."
Lewis has included her version of the song on the deluxe edition of her debut album Spirit. She had previously performed it on Radio 1's Live Lounge in 2007.
The track has not yet been released as a single in the UK but it topped the charts in Ireland this week.
