Last week, each judge - Billy, Shaun, Z & Darenn - were given their catergory and had to decide which three acts from that catergory they wanted in the live shows. All have decided, and it's now time for the First Live Show, with the theme of UK Number Ones

These are the twelve contestants that will be performing tonight. However, the voting process will be working slightly differently, and all will be revealed at the end of the show, along with a major twist. The results will happen later today.

Shaun cannot be here at the moment to represent his three acts, and if he cannot be here in the future, we will need a replacement, so let me know if you are interested to fill in (though it won't be needed for the first live show).

This is how the results show will work. I will call through the 10 acts with the highest number of votes, and they will be safe. The bottom 2 acts will then perform one of the songs they performed previously on the X Factor - their favourite performance - before the judges vote for the act they want to go home. That act will be sent home and will no longer be in the competition.

It is then that I will reveal the first twist in this game...

It's a no brainer for me, I'm going to have to save my own act, the act I'm sending home is Voices With Soul.

This is really difficult yknow, because VWS have proven that with the right song they could be good, it was SO much better than the first time. But Shayne has proven that his mentors daft as a brush, cos that performance was good too.

Voices With Soul really delivered there. They're a good vocal group when given a good song. The same goes for Shayne, when given a great song, he's amazing. Judges can vote, and can get anyone to vote as much as they want. We will have another sing off with the bottom two in ten minutes time, and another act will be out.
