Diana SHOULD NOT Win...

...based on her last few performances. They have been dreadful.


The first few weeks I loved Diana, but recently she has been a poor singer (ill or not). Ruth was ill, and still managed to belt out purple Rain in the week she was in the bottom two.

If Diana had remained consistent, then I'd love her to win, but she is just becoming an average singer now, and is becoming less exciting and special.


She needs to step up her game again, or else she won't win this, despite she is odds on fave. In fact I could even bet you a shock could happen and she could miss out on the top 3.

Agreed she shouldnt win. Shes different and that is good but she is not better than others in the competition

Alexandra was ill in week 1 and last night, Ruth one of the weeks as well but still did great performances. Theres no excuse for Diana's Yellow week, although i regard it as one of her best so that says a lot really about not being able to tell

Diana is a parody of herself from the earlier rounds (where she was good) and she won't have longevity in the music business because there is no possible way she can reinvent herself. Seen it once seen it all springs to mind.

I hate everything about her - her yodelling, hand-motions and cutesy-wannabe look. I don't see why she's so popular, she can't sing for gods sake. I hope either Alex, Ruth or JLS wins.

Her not being able to sing was quite evident last night when her voice was drowned out by the backing track, same with Egg on his high notes

I was absolutely confused as to why the judges praised 'Patience'.

I though a cat had gotten into her hair or something, what with the wailing and fake emotion, etc.

She started off so strong and the first couple of performances gave me goosebumps.... but she now become bland and her performances have become very samey

Sorry, she is still going to get my votes! I still want her to win, with Alex coming second. She is different, she can sing, she may not be able to belt it out like Alex or Ruth but so what? nither can Madonna, and look how many Albums she has sold. Diana all the way!

She is dreadful, she sounded like a strangled cat last night.
Those hands are just.. no words! I can't believe non of the judges mention it, its so off putting when your trying to watch her and then she just waves her hand around her cheeks.

I also think shes fake. Very fake!

Different strokes for different 'folks. But to be honest, laryngitis is much more serious for a performer than simply having a cold, so obviously she'd need to recover as gently as she can.

Finally, the backlash.

As I said in another thread, her voice may well be different to most but as a singer she's not the best in the contest in fact she's one of the worst in the final twelve. Laura, Alex, Austin, Ruth even Hannah and that middle aged bird from boot camp are all far better singers.

I think she's still going to win and have something of a career but she wont be a worthy winner and her career will be hampered by her vocal limitations.

Diana is not fake.

The hand thing maybe annoying, I am not a fan of it, however I think that's just her style.
