I was thinking of going camping in the lake district next year. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience or tips? Anyone been camping before? Any camping tips would be appreciated.

yes you need a tent for camping and take a spade you have to dig your own toilets at most campsites:thumbs:

on topic though i used to camp a lot when i was a kid my tips would be learn how to set your tent up before you go, take plenty of warm clothes esp for at night (even in summer it gets really cold), dont let anything like clothes or bedding touch the tent sides cos they end up damp, buy food daily if you can, learn the art of using a bucket for the toilet (and the getting rid in a hole dug in ground) cos not all sites have toilets

lol! actually we did do that once in cornwall my dad decided it would be a good idea to camp in the woods on a road trip!

and my mum used to take a spade with us to the glastonbury festival and we'd make our own loos in a neigbouring field, they were better than the ones provided hahhaha Im giving too much away here
