Simon Cowell protects Dannii Minogue after Louis Walsh makes her cry on live television over the song choice row that saw Dannii’s act Rachel sing Take That’s Rule the World instead of Louis’ boyband, JLS.
It’s true! Simon stuck up for Dannii, announcing on Saturday’s live show: "Just picking up on what Louis said about nicking the song, we take it in turns and Dannii made absolutely the right decision, and if Louis doesn't like it... tough."

Simon Cowell will AXE Dannii Minogue from The X Factor at the end of the current series, despite reassuring her that she will keep her judge’s job.
It’s not true! We say this every week but Dannii isn’t going anywhere! There are no plans to replace her, she is a valid member of the judging panel, and Simon has already told her that she will be back next year.

Pop superstar Robbie Williams is looking to make a dramatic public comeback – he is set to become a judge on The X Factor and will replace Dannii Minogue in the next series.
It’s not true! Whilst many would love to see Robbie sat on the judging panel the reality of it is it is just a rumour, and no, Dannii is not set to be replaced! Sorry Robbie fans!

The X Factor has the edge over Strictly Come Dancing in the Saturday night ratings war. Based on overnight ratings BBC1’s Strictly peaked at 11.1 million viewers, whilst ITV’s X Factor peaked at 12.1 million.
It’s true! The X Factor continues to pull in more viewers than Strictly every week, it’s a tough battle but one in which Simon Cowell and co seem to be winning on a regular basis.

Britney Spears sparing no expense over her X Factor appearance. For a 24-hour trip to London she's flying over a team of security, hair and makeup experts plus six dancers - AND she's putting them all up at a five-star hotel.
We don't care if it's true! As long as Britney performs on The X Factor stage next week, that is all that matters - not how large her entourage is!
