This story was reported by A Rubbish Newspaper, HAS NOT been confirmed and ITV have denied it.

It is just a story to drum up more attention to X factor as the final weeks are closing in.

I bet you anything that when the winners song is announced OFFICIALLY it won't be Hallelujah.

very much agreed. Only 2 artists have ever come close to doing that song any justice , but still not as good as the original (Imogen Heap & Jeff Buckley).

Are you serious? HAve they really denied it, or did they just have no comment? Cause those are 2 different things!

I would feel stupid if its false, I had a petition and everything!

It had better not be ! !

It a big, touching, genuinely emotional song. That for me and I'm sure many others holds a deep place in their hearts and usually reminds them of something really personal in their live.

I would find it sooooo sickening to see it used as a manufactured emotional moment on a reality TV show. It would be the exact opposite of what the song is. Not to mention that, despite me really liking The X Factor, it's just not worthy.

Plus! It already has it's TV moment history, It will always be for Marissa in The OC. (End of!)

Pity I was looking forward to her singing it.

I actually hate the Leonard Cohen version, I prefer the Jeff Buckley cover.

Did you guys like Jason Castro's? It was the first time I had heard the song, so I thought it was amazing!
But after listening to the original of course, I loved that one more!

Lmao, of course it wasn't true, I am suprsied anyone believed it really. Born To Try suits Diana anyway, so either way she wont lose
