Wii or X box?

Dont know whats best to get for Xmas a Wii seems like good family fun but I really wanna play Call of duty with the old man like the old days pre kids! wot say u gamers?

If you're going to play with your family or friends then get the Wii, but XBOX is the better console IMO.

can you play war games on the Wii? I like a bit of war (pretend war not real war!)

For fun go with the Wii but for serious gaming get the 360 - they're down to just 129 quids at the moment.

Ps3 is the best really.

but i think with wii unless you are qiute active and your family i think it would get boring within a few weeks.

whereas an xbox with games like call of duty you can spend months playing it every now and again...

I played call of duty for 10 days in total so quite a few hours there.

yeh I think its gotta be the X box maybe get a Wii when theyre cheaper and the kids are older

OOOh I cant wait to play call of duty! We used to play combat desert storm for days screaming obscenities at each other all day, god knows what the neighbours must have thought! (when we werent at work that is were not dole scum)

I have both, I would go with the Xbox 360 because there is a variety of games coming out for all ages and it is becoming a more family console
with the Wii to get the most out of it, you really need to be playing with others all the time and the games can get really boring.

good choice as much as i dislike xbox its still better than a wii, id never have the energy to play games like wii and id get bored within a week.

yeh I like the look of the guitar thing and music stuff but I think Id get bored after a while

With the Wii, you will most likely get bored of it after a while
However, with the Xbox there is more things you can play

If you got friends and family that play games aften go for the Wii, the Xbox tends to have more action-y war games and more mature games on it.
