Wag loses her ragFURIOUS WAG Nicola McLean started packing her bags as she threatened to quit I’m A Celeb yesterday.
The busty ex-Page 3 girl woke in a bed soaked by torrential rain and screamed: “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.”
She demanded to see the show’s top brass and started gathering her belongings.
Nicola, 25, who is engaged to Peterborough United striker Tommy Williams, moaned: “I’m soaking wet and my neck is killing me. This isn’t fun any more.
“I’m sick of this, I’m going to call someone. I’m going home. How many times do I have to say I’m wet? It’s no good, no-one gives a ******* about me.”
The star — who before the show said she would “never quit” — added: “I need to go somewhere I can be warm and dry and have a hot bath. I can only give this so long.”
But tennis legend Martina Navratilova stepped in and managed to calm her down after an hour’s heart-to-heart.
She offered her some dry clothes and said: “It would be silly to quit like this, you’ll only regret it later.”
ITV1 producers were panicking but did not step in. A source said: “A producer was on stand-by to see her.”
Meanwhile a fleet of people carriers is on stand-by to whisk the stars to a hotel in case the camp is flooded.
A source said: “They would probably only need to be away from camp for a maximum of one night.”
