Eoghan - Sometimes by Britney & Together by High School Musical

Ruth - I Love Rock and Roll by Britney & Always by Bon Jovi

JLS - Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney & You Light Up My Life by Whitney Houston

Anyway, other than that they all seem ok, I think Alex could be in trouble tonight though.

Alexandra - Will be amazing, fantastic song choices. Best of the night.

Diana - Two good song choices may struggle with Britney but will be great with REM.

Eoghan - Will be OK for him, two weird song choices.

Ruth - Should be great. Two rock songs will be in her comfort zone and sing her heart out.

Ruth has 2 good songs which can show 2 sides of her and show off her vocal talent
I was worried for Eoghan with the Britney song choice but it will work well because its really different from the HSM track.
This could be the week where Ruth and Eoghan gain a lot of support

Eoghan is just there to make up numbers, its obvious Simon wanted Austin to (rightly) be the top boy.

Oh dear god. Is Simon thinking girls will vote for Eoghan if he sings something from HSM? Does he think because its popular with little girls that they will vote? What is he thinking?! He could have had ANY amazing american classic song. And he gets that. Might as well pack his bags!

Also Listen by Beyonce - when Alex sang this at Cheryls house during boot camp - I loved it and cried and she will improve this time round with this song.

I am very excited about the two songs tonight. Hopefully Eoghan will be out.

but hsm for eoghan what the hell :bored: and even some of the others arent exactly american classics the judges could have really gone for it with some classics but they have gone a bit half hearted over the choices imo

I'd hardly call HSM American Classics, but I'm sure Eoghan'll pull it off. I think JLS will go tonight, Ruth's choices are looking good so I think she'll pick up more votes; the other three acts are safe anyway.

I think Diana might be back on form tonight, which would be a relief because I really want to like her but these past few weeks have made it hard to see the fascination with her at all. For me she's been the least consistent contestant left in the competition.
