He just said "The contestants always come out and sing amazingly(fair comment), and then Britney comes out and mimes the song and she doesnt sound as goos as them and does a half arsed performance". That was really rude. He justs aid this on Xtra Factor Results.

Alexandra turned around and did a nervous look on her face and did a "Ohh ohh" gesture to the camera and looked to her side looking like she though Britney was standing there.

The way I see it, is that Britney has always been referred to a preformer more than a singer, and her preformance was amazing imo

He was kinda right though, We always knew she was gonna lip sync but we were all expecting a spectacular routine and she really didn't match it compared to what she could have done. I like Britters but she kinda disapointed me tonight, the beggining was fantastic but after a minute or so it just became repetitive.

Good on him for saying it how he sees it though.

How honest would he be, if he walks into Britney on the road and she supposodly asks him about what he said or why he said it. I doubt he would say "Yeahh, you are crap" to her face, he would just use a cover story to shield himself.

And this goes to Miley Cyrus as well. Imo both Britney and Miley are performers.
And how do we know if she actually mimed? Some parts sounded like her because they sounded more out of tune than the version you hear on the CD. Perhaps It was her vocal on the backing track

Well if anyone was pleased for Britney's performance it must have been Diana, for once this girl didnt have the worst performance on the night.
Indeed for the first time on finals night I for one identified an act Diana could actually beat on merit in the final itself, singing in a high pitched yoddeling squeal is still a hundred times better than a mimed gimmick and always will be.

I skyplussed the show as I was out last night but I fast forwarded her performance when I watched it this morning after a minute of listening to it. :rolleyes:

I don't understand why people are getting offended by it. If my favourite artist was miming. I would not enjoy it at all. Live singing is the way.


But she did put on a good performance I have to admit.
