I really don't care if this causes arguments, it needs to be said.
Where do you get off labelling people "fat dicks" "rude" telling people to "go **** [themselves]" and implying that they hate them just because they didn't like Britney's performance.
Take a ****ing chill pill and realize that A LOT of people thought she was crap. No one is forcing you to agree but you should at the very least learn to respect their opinions.
BTW, not ALL Brit fans, just some.

Sorry to say that I agree with this, especially tonight.
I love Britney but her performance wasn't great tonight, and I was cringing at her answers to Dermot's questions.

Exactly, I am a huge Eoghan fan but I also wont insult others because they insult him or myself for supporting him like they have today. These Britney fans need to start respecting other peoples opinions or just get off the forum because its obvious its not a good place for them to be.

My source is by opening your ears and listening...
She sang to the track being played in the Background with her vocals being played, you can hear her live vocals during the performance, she has done the same routine for the past 2 nights, singing live to the song being played in the background.

No you know what, it's unfair Britney fans are being treated as if we've killed someone. People on this forum insult her with horrible words, so why when we use it to defend her we're made out as criminals?

SHE DIDNT SING ANYTHING LIVE FOR GODS SAKES!!! IF you want to defend Britney, defend her by saying she put on a great performance or whatever, which I thought she didnt. Everyone knows she mimed, Even got slated for it on the Xtra factor, which is the show that put her on, and no one denied it, including the host. Britney always mimes, its not the first time. I didnt expect her to sing live as her song is cmpletely computerized. BUt that's not really the problem. SHe couldnt mime correctly, she was over ennunciating, and she was out of time. ANd in addition to that, she didnt perform with the usual energy that made people ignore the fact that she mimes. SO she lost what was her main thing!

I HAVE ignored posts! I ignored all the threads that Red made with a negative story, and I saw there were replies. Even when people were talking **** about her, I still ignored it. Only tonight have I really insulted people for it, so don't act like I'm constantly doing it.

I dont need to go into what she has been through, because thats her personal life. ANd unlike most people I dont slate artists because of unfortunate events in their lives. AT the same time, it sshouldnt be used as an excuse for mediocrity. If she isnt ready to be an artist, then she shouldnt be singing, performing or releasing albums. I judge based on what I see, and Britney spears to me is a singer, I dont care about the soap opera aspect of her life, if I did, I would like her even less! So since she has decided to perform, I think its fair to judge her without giving her excuses.

Let me say this in my defense, you replied to one of those threads last night and we had an interesting discussion about Britney in the thread and by U2U, and we found some middle ground. I wish others would debate things, rather than sit in their corners throwing mud at each other and never meeting in the middle. Maybe then people wouldn't result to insults to make there points.
Because, of what we discussed my opinion of her has changed, and maybe my opinion of the music industry too. She is a performer and that is what the industry wants her to be. And by performer I mean she is not a live singer like the X-factor contestants, she performs the tracks that she records and does it well. That is what her fans expect and accept as the norm. I think the title of her album, is so so on the button for her. It's great. She lives in a media circus and she performs as if she was in a circus, controlled by the ring master.
I don't know, but given what I read sometimes I thing she wants to leave the circus and just be allowed to be normal but like you said that can't happen for her now.

That's exactly my point. If she's chosen to perform again, she'll need time to readjust to the camera and crowd etc. She's been rehearsing for months now so she's obviously wanting to do it.

So its fair to accept it, when people say, that was not a good performance. The energy wasnt there, and her miming wasnt on point. Its a criticism that you have to accept. Fair enough if you think it was good, thats your right. But I hold someone like her to a higher standard, and the rest of the world do as well. SO if she is bad, its gonna be criticized, even more than other singers,because she was once an amazing performer.
