Omg ! I think i just made the best banner ive ever done and mucked it up. I saved it and then exited the proggrame. but when i went to tinypic it wasnt there ! I went back and tried to oppen it in the 'recent images' folder and it says its 'this file type is not recognised and cannot be opened' Does anyone know how to get it back or is it impossible ?!

no. it wasnt there. but when i go onto paint.net you can go to 'recent images' and a little thumbnail comes up of my completed banner but when i click on it, it says 'file isnt recognised and cannot be opened'

I've never used that program, but have you looked in - C:\Program Files\Paint.NET to see if there are any temp folders where it would maybe go.

open it in paint.net and save as a jpg/png?

I think he tried to open it in the program. Looks like he's exited the prog without saving. Shame.

Search any potential file name it could've been? But if it definitely didn't save, it'll be stored in some temp file somewhere that'll be difficult to find if it isn't in the Paint.NET one.

I'm gonna be honest, I sometimes worry about the random bits of files and webpages that are saved in my temp files. 99% of the time I'm thinking "where the hell did that come from?!"
