Ruth Lorenzo has insisted that she was not fazed by comments about her chest on The X Factor.
After one performance, Simon Cowell told the curvaceous Spaniard: "[There were] two things I loved about that… and the singing was good as well!"
"You know what, I know how to handle that kind of attention," Lorenzo told DS. "I'm from Spain and men in Spain are rude like heck. I've had those comments since I was 11 because I've been like this since then.
"I've had worse comments than that, believe me! I only cared whether Simon said I was a good singer or a bad singer. The rest? Most of the time I didn't even listen."
Lorenzo also claimed that she did not mean to hitch up her skirt provocatively while she sang on the show.
"I had no idea! When I watch myself back I'm like, 'Oh my God what am I doing?" she said. "Then I see the hair flicking and I look like I'm possessed! But it's fun I think, it's good."
