Better than Leona IMO.
Her voice doesn't grate on me, I much prefer the tone, and the fact she doesn't overdo every song she sings.

Alexandra, a bit like Toni Braxton or Anita Baker. I cant compare her to Leona to be honest. To me they are very different! BUt for people who puts everyone that sings R&B in the same bracket, I guess they can make that comparaison!

At this stage of her career, Alex is better than Leona. Alex has shown that she can sing a wider range of songs than Leona and that she's more comfortable than Leona when singing and dancing at the same time. Who knows what might happen in the future, but Alex's X-Factor performances have been better than Leona X-Factor performances in terms of versatility and variety.

Ask Simon Cowell if he'd swap 'em..................at any stage of their careers. Didn't she part-mime the britney sing too? See wot happens when you start this silly comparison? Egghead to win.

She applied three years ago; she was told by Louis that she was too young and not ready for the contest. It must have been the Shane Ward year because I dont remember Louis mentoring the under 25's at any other time. I think it was yet another Louis moment because the other acts in his category - Apart from Shane - were Philip Magee, Nicholas Dorsett and Chenai Zinyuku. Chenai wasn't bad but the other two were terrible. Who knows how well Alex would have done.
