Britney Spears went behind my back for divorce, says Kevin FederlineIt’s not the first time she’s gone over the top on a night out.
But after the furore over her X Factor performance, Britney Spears celebrates her 27th birthday clearly bursting to show the world a thing or two.
The star marked the occasion by partying with pals and relatives at a New York club. However, whatever presents she received clearly did not include a coat.
Earlier in the day she sang songs from new album Circus at, appropriately, a New York circus.
But her celebrations were overshadowed by an outburst from her ex Kevin Federline, who claimed he had not wanted a divorce.
Kevin, 30, told a magazine: “I was trying to work stuff out with her. She didn’t talk to me…and went behind my back and filed for divorce.”
Britney is keen to look to the future and put behind her a nightmare 12 months that saw her sectioned twice.
The mum of two told Glamour magazine: “This whole year has been a hell of a year for me.
“In five years I’d like to be married and have a father figure for my kids – someone who’s a provider and can be stable. It’s hard doing it on your own.”
