I live in the UK in Bradford & Bomb sirens just started to sound.
Holy ****! I'm so scared now. :sad:

Haha Christ, I'd have a heart attack.

I think it's just a general sound to mean things like snow storms and road dangers now though?

ive never heard a bomb siren?i diddn`t know there were such thing?i heard sirens this morning as well though ,theres been about 5 crashes in my area due to the snow

Some towns still have them for general things like snow.

Don't think anywhere in the NE has them.

I think any sirens we did have from WWII have been dis"armed" or removed.

Don't worry the government gave up on civil defense back in 1992. Given that there wouldn't be much of the UK that was inhabitable after the Bomb they gave up on the four minute warning for the general public at least. There didn't seem any point since most the people that survived in the cities and left their shelters two weeks later would just die of radiation sickness anyway given there would be no NHS left to cure them.
