Big Brother's Michelle was heckled as she went shopping in the centre of her home town - Newcastle.

Michelle was shopping with her 18-year-old sister Sarah when fellow Geordies began hurling abuse at her.

The Sun says people heckled her about her weight and also called her a "bunny boiler" for being over-possessive and jealous about Big Brother boyfriend Stuart Wilson.

But 23-year-old Michelle apparently snapped back: "I don't care. They can think what they want - I can look after myself. I'm just up for the day to see my family and do a bit of shopping, then I'm going straight back to London."

Michelle then went to the railway station and jumped on a train for King's Cross.

I feel sorry for Michelle.. I don't really like her, but no-one deserved to be made fun of publicly like that.

I would have expected her fellow Geordies to feel proud of her achievements and putting Newcastle back on the map.

well that isnt what was said in our local paper. The article said that she shopped virtually unnoticed as David Beckham was in town. Becks had crowds following him around the toon so she was hardly noticed.

Sour grapes from The Sun as per norm trying to cause trouble because they did not get the Michelle / Stuart story...
