I hate to say it, but its rather dead now.
I think a new area in 'General Interests' should be made, for all forum members creative writing; eg blogs, stories, poems, and then we should have one 'Archive' forum for all the games etc.

Alternatively, run all large games in the Interactive Area - Eg Apprentice, BB, Elimination.

"Archive" sounds like a forum for archived old posts.

I hate the idea of even more subforums though. Look at the home page it's ridiculous, half of them are barely used - but then again, "Chat & Games" doesn't leave much room for chat as it's full of games.

We have General Interests for Music, Sport etc so it'd have to be something else.

I agree, I think when SCD, X Factor, IACGMOOH arent on they should all just have small links in 'Reality TV' like they used to.

I agree with this.

I also think that "Big Brother In The Media" should go - it's hardly ever used and I'm sure all the threads inside it could fit in the BB in General board, if not elsewhere.

The BBUSA board could also be moved into BB General now that's over until next year.

Totally agree.

Edit: Same with Big Brother in the Media.

Oh yeah, TBH that forum should just be merged with other BB.

What else can be changed?

Far too many sub forums here. I don't see the need for sub-forums for every series - once it's over just lump it in a general section.

It's better to have a handful of relatively active forums than dozens of inactive ones.

Yeah, it needs to go. All previous series should be placed into a forum of their own, there's too much going on, on the forum homepage now.

I disagree, at least with BB7 onwards, the hms still genreate quite a bit of news, and there are a lot of fans that begun with BB7.

BB3 is also frequently used for Jade and Kate stuff. However, BB1+BB2 could be merged as they are sledom used.

Though personally I don't think we should merge any of the BB sub forums (bar BB In The Media). Strictly Come Dancing should go though, there aren't many fans on here, a discussion thread in Other Reality TV would suffice.

I agree, Appretice has more fans here than SCD.

Yep, as mentioned in the other thread we are looking at changing things around. It's not going to be an overnight decision, but expect it to change before Christmas for sure.

Can we keep fan fiction though?

I still use that section?

Is that section going to be deleted?

What happens to our posts already there?

I was planning my season eight, should I not bother now as it is being closed down?

I don't think Mark has mentioned scrapping the whole thing completely? I was under the impression that fan fiction/creative writing was going to be kept?

I was kind of reading between the lines, well trying to

I started a thread in the interactive Fan Fiction section and the only other poster seemed to be indicating it might be deleted along with all the posts, if I read what he said correctly.

I have pm'd Sunny_01 and Mark (Via tibb and Facebook) to try and find out what is happening.

I said that it might be closed because it's one of the least used sections. I never said that Mark was definitely going to close it.

Sorry about that

I am in kind of headless chicken mode at the moment because of this thread and what has been said about a reorganisation. Normally in work, when ever there is a reorganisation, that is a euphemism for rationalisation and then redundancy

I thought the Fan Fiction section was the most used of the Interactive area, especially by myself and Chewy

It is, I would be annoyed if fan fiction went.
I think people mean all the other Interactive forums, which I dont think will ever have a purpose now

I think the rest may be re-shuffled, and fan fiction made in to ' Creative Writing' or sommit

I think the original title of the section was a reflection of the fact there was a while ago the interactive story based on BB2.

Renaming the Fan Fiction a Creative Writing section would be acceptable, or it could be renamed Fiction and Poetry, or Poetry and Fiction.

Blogs are kind of general chat, are they not?
