Diana dumps her boyfriend

X FACTOR’S Diana Vickers has dumped her boyfriend two days after a tearful hug from Eoghan Quigg on the show when she made her final appearance, The Sun can reveal.

The pretty 17-year-old from Blackburn had been dating student Chris Jones, 18, for eight months.

Their romance hit the skids last month when we revealed Diana and fellow contestant Eoghan, 16, were having a secret fling.


The pair were caught canoodling in the finalists’ house.

A source close to Diana said last night: “Diana and Chris have split. She is overwhelmed with everything right now and says she doesn’t want any boyfriend.


“Eoghan has made it clear how he feels about Diana.”

It's more effective if she tries straight after she's been eliminated. If she did it when she's completely out of the papers, then it wouldn't make the papers anyway.

Done what? No quotes from Diana, no nothing. She denied it this morning on an interview, saying that they are on a "cooling" period while she is in London.
