At work, after 08:00 Tibb is blocked

sort of

It seems that the http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forum is blocked

But today I discovered that there is a http://thisisbigbrother.com/forum which works after 08:00 (I.e no www)

Was anyone aware of this extra domain?

Also is there a way that for the email notifications to have the link given to knock off the www so I can look at them at work,

Its the same domain, just one without the www. which isn't essential anyway

That's the address I use, without the www. I actually miss that out on most websites I frequent, as far as I'm aware there's no difference?!

Sticks, why don't you just copy/paste the linkage into your browser, then remove the www manually.

That tends to leave copies of the URL in the drop down of the address bar at the top of the browser.

When you copy and paste it, don't press "enter". Just copy, paste, and remove. Then press enter.

This means the "www." one won't show on the drop down box.

Or you could remove history at the end of browsing.

In theory, all domains should be able to work with or without the www.

However, there are ways that webmasters can force sites to use the www. prefix (or not). Therefore, not every website will work like that.
