X Factor Single To Be Beaten By Jeff Buckley's 'Hallelujah'The X Factor winner's single could be pipped to number one by the original song.
Whoever wins the contest this weekend (Saturday December 13), will record a cover version of Leonard Cohen's classic 'Hallelujah' in their bid for topping the charts this festive season.
But now it looks as though another cover of the track by the late Jeff Buckley (the most famous version out there) could beat the X Factor version in reaching the top spot.
Buckley's cover has already returned to the charts and currently resides at number 43, but fans of the singer are campaigning to get the track to hit the top position.
