Had orientation today for my first placement in January. We all had to wear our uniforms,omg the trousers go like right up to your waist! And the shoes are vileeee. We all looked like we were at our first day of school :laugh:
We got our name badges as well and our locker keys(I got an orange one-woo).
Then we all had a hospital tour,the hospital is fricking MASSIVE. I swear it's like a ten minute walk from the locker room to my ward.And it's really confusing.
We got to see our wards as well-I'm in Private 2(which is surgical for basically everything),it seemed really quiet,I only saw like 3 patients,suppose they were having surgery.
Oooh and I had fire safety. Which was alright,although it scared me sooo much!
I was up at 6 to go in and I want to go to bed right now,but for placement I have to be there at 7.30! The first DART leaves at 6.20 and it takes 1.30 to get in there so I'm screwedddd. Hopefully there's a bus or something.
I'm really really nervous! I start on January 5th so that's a long time to be anxious for :laugh:
