View Full Version : Terrible rappers ruining good electro/techno songs?

I can't stand rappers who ruin electronic/techno songs.

Honestly. Here are a few examples.

Daft Punk's wonderful song..
"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" - Daft Punk
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=DgBgnoEY4iM

ruined by the conceited dick that is known as Kanye West.
"Stronger" - Kanye West
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3jzSh_MLNcY
Slowing down the tempo adding over a few rap lyrics is hardly deserving of the amount of downloads this piece of **** received.

Another example is the AMAZING song that is..
"Cream" - Frederico Franchi
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KyyxDayTvLo

Slaughtered, butchered, and served to the feeble-minded public as..
"Get Krazy" - Pitbull feat. Lil Jon
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=I8vPD1QxYts
Slapping "JUMP UP LETS GET KRAZY" on the beat doesn't mean they're original. Piece of **** songthat needs to get develop its own beat. At least Kanye did SOMETHING to Daft Punk's song.

Some rappers need to devlop individuality and originality.
Stupid ****s.

I agree.
I hated Kanye's sample of it, then again, I think Kanye's a twat anyway.
30 Seconds To Mars' cover of his song is better than his original.

:bored: I suppose that's your taste, but he ruined the song for me.

Also, the idiots at my school who LOVE Stronger and think that Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger copied it ruined it for me as wel.

As a HUGE fan of Electro and a DJ, I never liked rappers in electro songs.
I agree with Rory, how could Kanye West do that to Daft Punk, who's just the biggest electro group in the world ? One of these questions we'll never found out the answer.

Daft Punk forever ! <3

I'm sorry to have an opinion but I'm glad you found it funny. I'm not saying Kanye West is a bad artist, he's not, he's done a great job but not on Stronger.

And 30stone, I agree, 'wearing my rolex' is plain rubbish.

Don't really find that funny, tbh. He ****ing murdered it, and didn't even give Daft Punk credit as "feat. Daft Punk".

He just copied Daft Punk's song and served it to the public who will eat up any **** that has Kanye West in the title.

They received a songwriting credit and had their costumes appear in the video, that's more than most others would get. And they should be happy with the promotion, Kanye helped them hit the top 40 in the UK again.

Nah, Kanye got the song noticed by only the people who really took the time to look into it.

On the surface, Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger is still unknown to most Stronger fans.

No, people always mention that Kanye copied Daft Punk.

Kanye got them noticed even though he "brutally murdered" the song.

It seems to me that:
Most Kanye fans either a. don't know HBFS; b. hate HBFS.
Most non-Kanye fans a. know HBFS; b. hate Stronger.

It's your opinion if you like Kanye's music.

I know they received a songwriting credit and had their costumes appear but that doesn't mean Kanye West did crap with it.
And Daft Punk doesn't need anyone to sell CDs, I think people got interested in Stronger because it was done Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. Kanye West wouldn't have done anything without it.
