1. I prefer her voice whereas I can't stand Leona's.
2. Her voice is slightly more unique.
3. She has more personality.
4. She's proved her versatility a lot more.

&the fact all Leona's songs sound the same, but with Simon, I wouldn't be surprised if Alex's are.

I was listening to one of Leona's tracks today and came to a conclusion that Alexandra has a much stronger voice.

personality wise,Leona.i find that Alex is a bit of a errmm drama queen,a bit of an actress,she flaunts her emotions around..but then again shes is 19.

It was originally recorded by Jesse McCartney for his third album 'Departure', and he shoved it as a bonus track after the success from giving it to Leona so it's not entirely original [despite not being a complete cover].

and doesnt a have a high bird-pitch like leona does!
and when Leona sings, its straight effortless! from high notes to high notes whereas alex have take a pause then hit a high note (which doesnt even go in the same range as leona's)

i do like alex, but cant be biased...cuz Leona is better

Perfect lol, i completely agree. Alex is one talented girl but leona is just heads and tails better. she can go low to high a lot easier.

also i did just realise she does pause before she has to force out a lot of power.

I suppose this comparison was always going to crop up. Firstly, congrats to alex for winning XF, and she deserved to. I don't remember Leona fans saying she was better than so-and-so when SHE won though. Only time will tell if Alex goes on to be as big, or a bigger, success.
Personally, I have always liked Leona. Her Number One 'covers', not written for her remember, prove that she IS versatile. There is a lot more to come too. There is a vulnerability about leona which is likeable........but

I am getting SO ANNOYED! More than half of the people i know started watching the X Factor after the 3rd series when leona won, and they didnt see leona's jouney to becoming the winner which i believe was really special but alexandra is no where near as good as her and her jouney was just normal and ordinary - no one was able to spot a great star in her until soon the finals.

i agree i didnt see a lot of it but i saw parts or 3rd and 4th and only just watched proper this year, but you can just tell she is the best, shes different to everyone.

i agree but with Rachel from BB9 people had a right to call her boring.they had watched her every day for 13 weeks and she didnt entertain them,they though she was boring,thats their opinion.but people dont have the right to call Leona boring.the only time they see her is when shes on live TV in front of millions of people,how would they know if shes boring or has no personality?

I might find Leona's performances boring, therefore she is boring because she doesn't excite me on stage, just how Rachel doesn't excite you in a house.
If you wanna dig even deeper, you could call her personality boring judging from interviews and tv shows she does, but I'm referring to the fact you've said people 'don't have the right to call Leona boring'.
