It's going to be second hand Leona stuff, or cover material.
She's on the tour till March she'll have no time to work with any decent people

Bit early in my opinion, I wish she'd do what Leona did and wait a while until releasing any material.

I hope its second hand Leona stuff ... if its an album of covers then its pointless them releasing anything

Its a 2 disc CD as well.

I wouldn't be surprised actually. Leon's completely underperformed and they may have taken it as a sign to release earlier.

There might be songs on there from what Alex Sung on the X Factor, like Listen, Candyman ect. I remember Leona had soem songs on her Album from the live shows.

It is quite laughable if they do. But surely Simon's got more sense then that? Maybe they've already got material writtem for each of the finalists or something? and all that needs to be done is to spend a few weeks recording it? I REALLY hope it's new material.

Hopefully she won't be releasing an album that early. They should wait until September '09 and then release some original material.

Why doesnt Simon do a Leona? Just wait and take time on her album. With the voice she has got, they might waste her talent, by chucking an album out.

It's a shame, but they were never gonna wait, not after Leon and SD album flopped. Even Rhydians album would have done better if it had been released quicker.

Leona recorded over 50 songs for Spirit so maybe Alexandra will get some of the left-overs?I wish they would just wait until the first XF show in October like Leona & Leon did to perform her first single.

Alex just said she's taking a year to get creatively involved in it. So I guess no March release!

It would be hard to imagine a 'rush job' with the album. 'Spirit' (the deluxe is back at No.2, BTW) TOOK NINE MONTHS to make...........the only thing is that the next XF starts in August, and while that gives ex contestants a platform to sing a new track, they are also competing with the current lot on the show.....
