I'm from the North East, not in Newcastle - but I'm in the Newcastle network.

Think they're just trying to make everything general.

I'm from Essex, which puts me in the London region

I don't have Facebook but that is probably the right thing to do so that there aren't little regions like Central London, East London, West London, etc. It doesn't particularly matter does it because it just makes things neater and more generalised.

I changed it to my school in the end

I'm nearer to Northampton but put in the bloody Leicester region. Thats Leicestershire not Northamptonshire where I live!
