I'm too excited for words, I think the new crowd look really cool. But I will really miss the old gang :( - Pandorra & Effy were already characters so we already know them. Another thing, I thought Sketch was going to be a character in the new series?

I'm not sure yet, I think I'll wait untill the first episode to form an opinion. There's a skins unseen season 3 episode on youtube which was okay. It had Effy and Pandora in it.

I didn't like Effy and Pandora in season 2 and the new characters seem like rip offs of the originals.

Thing is, I really want this series to go well but last year was just perfect character-wise (except Chris and Jals relationship, I HATED that :|)

This year I hate to say almost sounds like the rejects who didn't make it last year.

I'm still giving it a shot though, because I want it to do well.

Everyones like "Aww, its so sweet" but I much preffered the friendship they had.

Jal was my fave last series :)

The myspace profiles always sound quite cringey though as they're written by tired 30 year old office workers trying to sound like a teenager again. I think the female characters seem like stronger characters then the men who seem more like older characters (Cook = Tony, Freddie - Chris ETC).

I heard the reason the cast got dropped was because their characters would be going of to different universities and they couldn't follow them all. Why couldn't they all go to the same 'uni lol?!?!

I think the cast wanted to go to Uni or something like that.

It also seems they're cut "Thomas" from the cast, I thought he'd of added something else.

The reason the old skins cast was dropped was because that was the plan from the first series. They're planning on changing the cast every two years since they wanna focus on characters aged 17-19.
